Our objects come from wood that’s lived — rescued from roadside waste, flood debris, and old houses emptied of their past.
We find character-rich Polish hardwoods — cracked oak stumps, ash, beech, or black locust — all bearing nature’s marks of winds, water, fire, rot, and time.
These marks are never erased — they are celebrated, giving each object its soul.
Hands that Know
Handmade with care and expert knowledge of grain and scar, we finish each piece with traditional techniques — controlled flaming to reveal texture, natural oils for protection, and archaic dyes that highlight the wood’s story.
Every step honors the past and prepares the artifact to age gracefully with you.
