This deliberately rebellious approach creates even deeper, more captivating radial cracks, especially in a sturdy ancient oak. At 22 cm in diameter and part of the “Japanese Set,” it anchors intimate vignettes: incense and matches on low consoles, a single candle in hygge nooks, or empty as meditative sculpture in Japandi serenity.
