Noir d’Or is a sculptural bowl from the Vanguard collection, hand-shaped from an old oak stump shared with its sister piece A10V78. At 48 cm in diameter, it carries an almost geological presence, with the Noir d’Or finish turning it into a bold, black-gold statement in any interior.

The exterior is deeply blackened, its surface carved with expressive relief that follows the natural distortions of the stump, amplifying its dramatic, three-dimensional form. Inside, a warm golden-amber tone reveals an insane grain picture – dense lines, swirls and growth rings intersecting with magnificent cracks and wind-made internal fissures that tell the story of years of strain, storms and slow endurance.

This is our jubilee #100 object in the Scar & Wonder collection, already tested in the public eye as an exhibited piece at “100 Bowls 2025” and “Station To Station 2025”, "The Secret Life of Trees 2026" ready to continue its journey in a new setting.
